Title

Amend the 2019 HRA Parking Enterprise fund budget for World Trade Center parking ramp revenue and expenditures, District 17, Ward 2

Body

WHEREAS, the Housing and Redevelopment Authority of the City of Saint Paul (“HRA”) owns and operates the World Trade Center Ramp (WTC) also known as Seventh Street Ramp; and

 

WHEREAS, repairs for WTC, both capital and for annual maintenance are needed, and

 

WHEREAS, the HRA has agreed to assist the City of Saint Paul by funding a portion of the Emerald Ash Borer project (EAB project), and

 

WHEREAS, the Parking Enterprise Fund has fund equity reserves available for WTC parking ramp needs and 2019 WTC revenues are estimated to be more than budgeted; and

 

WHEREAS, the 2019 HRA budget needs to be amended to include additional amounts for repairs and EAB project, and

 

NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, by the Board of Commissioners of the Housing and Redevelopment Authority of the City of Saint Paul, Minnesota that the 2019 HRA Parking Enterprise Fund budget be amended, as shown in the attached financial analysis; and

 

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Executive Director and staff of the HRA are authorized and directed to take all actions needed to implement this resolution.
