Ratifying the assessment for Improvements on Jackson Street from 11th to University. (File No. 19203, Assessment No. 175205)

WHEREAS, the Saint Paul City Council in Council File 19-1467 accepted the Report of Completion for the assessment of benefits, cost and expenses for constructing concrete curb and gutter, new bituminous roadway, new sidewalk as needed, boulevard landscaping, trees where possible, and lantern style street lighting; and
WHEREAS, costs and expenses for street, sidewalk and boulevard improvement are authorized for assessment under Minnesota Statutes Sec. 429.021 and under CHapter 14 of the Saint Paul City Charter; and
WHEREAS, the City Council held a public hearing on October 6, 2019 to consider ratification of the assessment roll; and
WHEREAS, the City Council considered and found satisfactory the assessment of benefits, costs and expenses for the construction work; now, therefore be it
RESOLVED, that the Council of the City of Saint Paull, exercising its power under the authority under Minnesota Statutes Sec. 429.021 and following the procedures set forth in Minnesota Statutes Chapter 429, herby ratifies the assessments in all respects; now be it
RESOLVED FURTHER, that the assessment be made payable in twenty (20) equal installments.
