Authorizing signature of the Joint Powers Agreement between the Saint Paul Department of Parks and Recreation and Capitol Region Watershed District (CRWD).
Body
WHEREAS, the City and Capitol Region Watershed District (CRWD) wish to enter into a Joint Powers Agreement to jointly design, construct, own, operate, and maintain improvements at McMurray Fields (the “Property”) located at 1151 Jessamine Avenue, Saint Paul, MN 55108; and
WHEREAS, the City and CRWD have determined it is in the best interests of the parties to enter into this joint powers agreement which will allow for capital improvements to the Property; and
WHEREAS, the City and CRWD desire to enter into this JPA defining their respective rights, duties, and liabilities relating to the project; and
WHEREAS, that the Saint Paul Parks and Recreation Commission recommended authorizing the proposed joint powers agreement between the Saint Paul Department of Parks and Recreation and CRWD; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, that the City of Saint Paul City Council authorize signature of the proposed joint powers agreement between the Saint Paul Department of Parks and Recreation and CRWD.
