Appeal of Youa Lue Thao to a Fire Certificate of Occupancy Correction Notice at 1256 MARGARET STREET.

Purpose of Appeal

House is still owned and lived in by owner.  Inspection was done on May 27th, 2011 but failed.  Next scheduled inspection is June 28, 2011.  Date is too soon to fix all needed errors in first inspection.  Errors to fix are costly and owner financially can't fix now.

WHEREAS, in the matter of the appeal of Youa Lue Thao to a Fire Certificate of Occupancy Correction Notice at 1256 MARGARET STREET, the Legislative Hearing Officer has reviewed the appeal and considered the testimony of City staff and the appellant; and

WHEREAS, the Legislative Hearing Officer recommends that the City Council grant 90 days to come into compliance for Items 1, 2 and 4, grant until June 21, 2012 for Items 3 and 5, grant until October 31, 2011 for Item 6, and grant until June 28, 2011 for Item 7; Now, Therefore, Be It

RESOLVED, that the Saint Paul City Council hereby accepts and adopts the Legislative Hearing Officer's recommendation in this matter.
