Amending the 2025 Housing and Redevelopment Authority (HRA) Budget to Transfer Unspent Funds to the City General Fund, Citywide
Body
WHEREAS, the City General Fund experienced significant, unplanned expenses in 2025; and
WHEREAS, the City is taking every measure to limit spending and ensure the General Fund remains on budget in 2025; and
WHEREAS, the HRA has identified available balances that are eligible to be transferred to the City General Fund; and
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, by the Board of Commissioners of the Housing and Redevelopment Authority of the City of Saint Paul, Minnesota that the HRA 2025 budget and project budget be amended, as shown in the attached financial analysis; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED prior to transfer of any funds, City staff must share information and analysis on the need for the transfer with the HRA Board to both justify and confirm the need and exact amount of the transfer; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Executive Director and staff of the HRA are authorized and directed to take all actions needed to implement this resolution.
