Title

Amending the financing and spending plans in the amount of $125,000 for a contribution received from the State of Minnesota to pay for training and equipment for the Saint Paul Fire Department hazardous materials team.

Body

WHEREAS, the State of Minnesota has awarded a contribution of $125,000 to the Fire Department to pay for training and equipment for the hazardous materials response team; and

WHEREAS, the public purpose of this contribution will be used to pay for training and equipment for the hazardous materials team; and

WHEREAS, the financing and spending plans have not been established for the contribution received; and

WHEREAS, the Mayor pursuant to Section 10.07.1 of the Charter of the City of Saint Paul, does certify that there are appropriations funds of $125,000 in excess of those estimated in the 2021 budget, now therefore be it

RESOLVED, by the Council of the City of Saint Paul, that the $125,000 is available for appropriation in the 2021 budget, and said budget, as heretofore adopted by Council, is hereby amended as outlined in the attached financial analysis.
