Purpose of Appeal
Corrections have been ordered for deficiencies caused by tenants. Tenants have not been paying rent. Evictions have been started. I do not have funds available to make all of the repairs by September 16. I need more time.

WHEREAS, in the matter of the Appeal of Michael Severin to a Correction Notice-Complaint Inspection at 367 CHARLES AVENUE, the Legislative Hearing Officer has reviewed the appeal and considered the testimony of City staff and the appellant; and
WHEREAS, the Legislative Hearing Officer recommends that the City Counci: 1) grant an extension to December 31, 2011 for compliance with the orders for the lower unit; and 2) grant a partial Fire Certificate of Occupancy allowing occupation of the upper unit if mold and mildew are completely removed within two weeks; Now, Therefore, Be It
RESOLVED, that the Saint Paul City Council hereby accepts and adopts the Legislative Hearing Officer's recommendation in this matter.
