Approving the reimbursement funds for the Ward 6 Budget Event.

WHEREAS, the Ward 6 budget event is being held on Tuesday, July 21 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM at Hazel Park Recreation Center located at 945 Hazel St. N, St. Paul, MN 55119; and
WHEREAS, the purpose of the meeting is to learn about the City’s budget, understand the opportunities and challenges ahead, and hear priorities for Saint Paul’s future; and
WHEREAS, the expenditure of money for snacks, light refreshments, and related items such as plates, utensils, and napkins, serves a public purpose by fostering community engagement and facilitating discussions among attendees;
RESOLVED, that the Saint Paul City Council is authorized to reimburse Councilmember Nelsie Yang or a Ward 6 office staff member up to $400 for the purchase of snacks, refreshments, and related items for the community event.
