Authorizing the Police Department to enter into the amendment to the 2015 Auto Theft grant agreement.

Body

WHEREAS, the City of Saint Paul, Police Department has been issued by the State of Minnesota, Department of Commerce, an amendment to the Auto Theft Grant as awarded and approved by council (RES 13-1539); and

WHEREAS, this amendment includes changes to the compensation term restrictions in 4.1 of the grant contract; and

THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that council accepts this grant and authorizes the City of Saint Paul to amend the grant contract, and Chief Thomas Smith to implement the amended agreement with the State of Minnesota.
