Authorizing the Police Department to purchase food and beverages for community partnership and program events.
Body
WHEREAS, the Saint Paul Police Department has several on-going programs that help create community partnerships including, the Junior Police Academy, Ambassadors, East/West African Academy, elder meetings and cultural community meetings; and
WHEREAS, Saint Paul Police Department has been granted funds from the St. Paul Police Foundation to support these programs including events where food and beverage is to be served; and
BE IT ORDERED, that the proper city officials are hereby authorized to pay a portion of the costs of food and beverage associated with the above, in the amount not to exceed $3,000 from Accounting Unit 20023809 or 10023200.
