Purpose of Appeal
Line #8 NEC 110-26 Provide and maintain a minimum of 36 inches clearance in front of elecrtrical panel.
The gas dryer is two (2) feet away from the panel; the gas line & exhaust vent has been there for over 45 years. There is no room to move it over another foot; you would have to remove the 50 plus years sink and all the plumbing, move the gas line & replumb the drains & water line at a cost we cannot afford. This dryer has been there for at least 30 years.

WHEREAS, in the matter of the Appeal of Gonzo Guerra, Property Management Solutions, to a Fire Inspection Correction Notice at 2045 REANEY AVENUE, the Legislative Hearing Officer has reviewed the appeal and considered the testimony of City staff and the appellant; and
WHEREAS, the Legislative Hearing Officer recommends that the City Council grant a one-foot variance clearance in front of the electrical panels and if changes are made in the future, the one-foot variance will no longer be granted; Now, Therefore, Be It
RESOLVED, that the Saint Paul City Council hereby accepts and adopts the Legislative Hearing Officer's recommendation in this matter.
