Authorizing the City to renew a lease agreement with Ramsey County for the Ramsey County Sheriff Office's use of space in the City Hall Annex.

WHEREAS, since July 1, 2005, under Lease No. TMS/17 (the "Lease"), the City of Saint Paul ("City"), as lessor, and Ramsey County ("County"), as lessee, on behalf of the Ramsey County Sheriff's Office, have occupied space in the City Hall Annex building, 25 West Fourth Street, Suite 150 (the "Premises") for sheriff operations; and
WHEREAS, the County wishes to renew the Lease for a two-year term, beginning July 1, 2023, as documented in the Lease approved by Ramsey County and attached hereto in Exhibit A; and
WHEREAS, the Lease includes a mutual indemnification for each party's performance or failure to perform under the terms of the Lease, or the use of the Premises under the Lease; now, therefore be it
RESOLVED, that the proper city officials are hereby authorized to enter into a renewal of said Lease between the City and County as documented in Exhibit A.
