Authorizing a professional services contract with Poul Haas P.A.
Body
WHEREAS, Saint Paul Administrative Code §45.03 requires that all contracts for lobbying activities be first authorized by resolution of the City Council; and
WHEREAS, the Mayor’s Office wishes to contract with Poul Haas to represent the City of Saint Paul before the Minnesota Legislature and state administrative agencies for lobbying services, including presence at committee hearings, floor sessions of the Senate and the House of Representatives, conference committee hearings and meetings with individual policy makers; and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the scope of services indicated above is consistent with the City’s state legislative agenda; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, that the City Council authorizes the appropriate City officials to enter into a professional services agreement with Poul Haas P.A.
