Staff Comments: This property is a 4-plex and is required to be in the program. Republic Services made an operations error and mistakenly thought that this property was not part of the citywide garbage program, due to the presence of a Walter's dumpster at the site. Republic Services has not provided any service to the property thus far. Staff recommends deleting this pending assessment, as well as the assessments from Quarter 1 2019 and Quarter 4 2018. Republic Services is delivering 4 64-gallon Medium carts to start service the week of Sept. 30, 2019.

WHEREAS, the Office of Financial Services Real Estate Section has attached to this Council File both a report of completion outlining the costs and fees associated with Collection of Delinquent Garbage Bills for services during April to June 2019. (File No. CG1903A3, Assessment No. 190123) and the assessment roll including all properties for which these assessments are proposed for Council ratification; and

WHEREAS, the City Council’s Legislative Hearing Officer has reviewed an appeal of this assessment and developed a recommendation for the City Council with respect to this assessment; and
