Title

Amending the 2026 spending budget in the Department of Public Works Recycling Operations, Organized Trash Operations, and Fleet Services accounting units for a Fleet technician to assist with the Solid Waste Fleet expansion, in the amount of $120,677.

Body

WHEREAS, Public Works Solid Waste fleet operations have expanded and the division has identified a need for an additional fleet vehicle technician, who will help maintain new equipment, for which The City’s Fleet Services department is willing and able to provide; and

WHEREAS, the funding to support this employee will be transferred in 2026 from the Department of Public Works Recycling Operations and Organized Trash Operations accounting units to the Fleet Services accounting unit, and

THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, by the Council of the City of Saint Paul, upon recommendation of the Mayor that $120,677 is available for appropriation in the 2026 Public Recycling Operations, Organized Trash Operations and Fleet Services accounting units, as heretofore adopted and amended by this Council, be hereby further amended in the particulars as specified in the attached financial analysis.
