Accepting the gift of the cost of airfare, lodging, and transportation from MetroLab Network for Matt Larson, Innovation Manager, to attend the MetroLab Network Spring Summit.

WHEREAS, the MetroLab Network Spring Summit is convening in San Diego, CA on May 9 through May 11, 2016; and
WHEREAS, MetroLab Network has offered to pay some costs associated with city staff attending the conference; and
WHEREAS, the city believes that having city staff attend the MetroLab Network Spring Summit will be beneficial by making Saint Paul a leader in collaborating with the University of Minnesota and City of Minneapolis and others as part of the national MetroLab network by using project work, data, and evidence to improve results for its residents; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, that the City Council hereby accepts the gift for the airfare, lodging, and transportation for the MetroLab Network Spring Summit and thanks MetroLab Network for its generous gift.
