Body

WHEREAS, the Minnesota Department of Labor and Industry has a grant opportunity and the Fire Department would like to apply for this grant; and

WHEREAS, the Fire Department would like to apply for the Labor Education Advancement Program (LEAP) grant for the joint apprenticeship training program for firefighters; and

WHEREAS, the total amount of the grant is $100,000, now, therefore be it

RESOLVED, the City Council authorizes the Fire Department to apply for this grant from the Minnesota Department of Labor and Industry.
