Amending the financing and spending plans in the Police Department special fund in the amount of $173,335 for an approved grant adjustment received for the 2020, 2022 and 2023 Port Security grant.
Body
WHEREAS, the City of Saint Paul, Police Department was awarded the 2020, 2022 and 2023 Port Security Grant Program from the US Department of Homeland Security through its Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) as authorized by RES PH 21-33, RES PH 22-325, and RES PH 24-12; and
WHEREAS, this grant provides funds to support the city's Maritime Awareness - Camera Surveillance Program in network connectivity and maintenance costs for cameras, backhauls and other equipment; and
WHEREAS, the Mayor pursuant to Section 10.07.1 of the Charter of the City of Saint Paul, does certify that there are, available for appropriation, total revenues in excess of those estimated in the budget, funds of $173,335 in the Police Department Grant Fund; and
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, by the Council of the City of Saint Paul, upon recommendation of the Mayor that $173,335 is available for appropriation in the Police Department Grant Fund, be hereby further amended in the particulars as specified in the attached financial analysis.
