Authorizing the Department of Parks and Recreation, Como Park Zoo and Conservatory to accept a donation of approximately 100 cardboard tubes and 250 cardboard connector pieces from the YOXO Toy Company valued at $300 for use in the Residency Program at Como Park Zoo and Conservatory.

WHEREAS, the Department of Parks and Recreation, Como Park Zoo and Conservatory, periodically receives unsolicited contributions of money and/or goods from a variety of nonprofit organizations; and
WHEREAS, the YOXO Toy Company wishes to donate approximately 100 cardboard tubes and 250 cardboard connector pieces to Como Park Zoo and Conservatory; and
WHEREAS, Como Park Zoo and Conservatory will use these items in the Residency Program for educational purposes; and
WHEREAS, the City believes that accepting this donation is a benefit to the students participating in the Residency Program at Como Park Zoo and Conservatory by enhancing their knowledge of science and engineering; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, that the Saint Paul City Council accepts the donation of cardboard tubes and connector pieces, and thanks the YOXO Toy Company for their generous gift.
