Ratiifying property clean-up assessments for work done on private property from September 20 to September 29, 2010 [RE Project #J1106A].

WHEREAS, the Office of Financial Services Real Estate Section has attached to this Council File both a report of completion outlining the costs and fees associated with property clean-ups on private property from September 20 to September 29, 2010 [RE Project #J1106A] and the assessment roll including all properties for which these assessments are proposed for Council ratification; and
WHEREAS, the City Council's Legislative Hearing Officer has reviewed the assessment roll, considered appeals of affected property owners and developed recommendations for the City Council with respect to those assessments; and
WHEREAS, a public hearing having been had upon the assessment for the above improvement, and said assessment having been further considered by the Council and having been considered financially satisfactory; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, that the said special assessment roll be and the same is hereby in all respects ratified, pursuant to Chapter 14 of the Saint Paul City Charter, with the following changes:
824 Magnolia Avenue East - spread the payments over 5 years;
2044 Reaney Avenue - delete for separate consideration with a legislative hearing on February 1, 2011 and a City Council Public Hearing February 16, 2011;
and refer back for and be it further
RESOLVED, that the said assessment roll be payable in one equal installment, unless specified otherwise as a change to this proposed assessment roll.
