WHEREAS, Como Park Zoo and Conservatory Education sponsors fee based programs to raise dollars for operating programs; and
WHEREAS, Como Park Zoo and Conservatory Education uses a number of Saint Paul businesses to provide food for programs including birthday parties; adult and family classes; Programs for 3s; the Small Sprouts Program and Camp Como; and
WHEREAS, Como Park Zoo and Conservatory Education programs in 2018 are expected to generate a revenue of approximately $258,000; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, that the Como Park Zoo and Conservatory Education Department is authorized to purchase food items and to pay companies who provide food for educational programs in an amount not to exceed $8,000
