Approving the Mayor’s appointment of Sara Daggett to the Visit Saint Paul Board of Directors.

WHEREAS, Article IV, Section 1 of the bylaws of Visit Saint Paul states that the Board of Directors shall include ten “mayoral directors” designated by the Mayor of the City of Saint Paul with the approval of the members of the City Council; and
WHEREAS, Mayor Carter wishes to fill the seat vacated by Maureen Smith, Vice President of Operations at the Minnesota United, by appointing Sara Daggett, Vice President of Legal and Public Affairs at the Minnesota United, to a term on the Visit Saint Paul board of directors expiring on April 30, 2028; now, therefore be it
RESOLVED, that the Saint Paul City Council approves the mayor’s appointment of Sara Daggett to the Visit Saint Paul board of directors until April 30, 2028.
