Approving adverse action against the Taxicab Driver license application submitted by Mieso Negeso Dekebo.

WHEREAS, adverse action was taken against the Taxicab Driver* license application submitted by Mieso Negeso Dekebo d/b/a Mieso Negeso Dekebo (License ID #20120002040) for the City of Saint Paul by Notice of Intent to Deny License dated June 19, 2012, alleging on June 22, 2011, the licensee was convicted and sentenced in Hennepin County Criminal Court for Misdemeanor Disorderly Conduct (Minn. Stat. § 609.72.1); and
WHEREAS, court records show the licensee is currently on supervised probation which is not set to expire until June 22, 2013; and
WHEREAS, per Saint Paul Legislative Code § 376.16 (e) (4) (a), the licensing office recommended license denial; and
WHEREAS, the licensee did not respond to the Notice of Intent to Deny License to request a hearing or withdraw his license application; and
WHEREAS, the Notice of Intent to Deny License stated that if the licensee failed to request a hearing or withdraw his license application by June 29, 2012, that the matter would be placed on the consent agenda to impose the recommended penalty; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, that the Taxicab Driver* license application submitted by Mieso Negeso Dekebo d/b/a Mieso Negeso Dekebo is hereby denied.
