Pertaining to master service agreement with Advanced Utility Systems to implement software upgrades, add-ons, and enhancements to the Board’s customer information and billing system.


Body
WHEREAS, the Board of Water Commissioners of the City of Saint Paul (the “Board”) and Advanced Utility Systems entered into a Software Support and Maintenance Agreement on or about July 1, 2008; and

WHEREAS, at its May 14, 2024 meeting, the Board approved Contract No. 4651 with Advanced Utility Systems (AUS) to provide integration services with the Board’s customer information and billing system to the Board’s new payment portal; and

WHEREAS, at its January 14, 2025 meeting, the Board approved Contract No. 5057 with Advanced Utility Systems (AUS) to continue to provide software support and maintenance services related to the Board’s customer information and billing system until December 31, 2029; and

WHEREAS, staff has identified a need to enter a professional services agreement with Advanced Utility Systems to implement software upgrades add-ons and enhancements to the Board’s customer information and billing system as identified in the information and technology roadmap; and

WHEREAS, staff has negotiated an agreement for professional services to be secured from the Contractor as detailed in “schedules” which become addendum(s) to the agreement facilitating a more efficient process for future services; and

WHEREAS, the agreement shall not exceed $170,000 (hereinafter, “Pool” of available funds) and no amounts will be due and payable from the pool of funds unless and until all services have been agreed upon in a schedule and delivered; and

WHEREAS, staff recommends approval of said Agreement; now, therefore, be it

RESOLVED, that the Board does herby authorize the master services agreement between the Board of Water Commissioners and Advanced Utility Systems to a term of five years and that the proper officers are hereby authorized and directed to exec...
