Appeal of John Regenold to a Re-Inspection Fire Certificate of Occupancy with Deficiencies at 644 COTTAGE AVENUE/1378 MAYWOOD STREET.

Purpose of Appeal: My wife and I do our book keeping and paperwork at the above address. We have done this for the past 38 years. Inspectors in the past said that was not a problem. The Inspector has inspected the building and everything is in compliance. Now the fire inspector says we can't do this anymore because of the zoning of the property. We feel this is very unfair. There is no signage or any traffic going in and out of this property. We are there about 6-8 hours a week only.

WHEREAS, in the matter of the Appeal of John Regenold to a Re-Inspection Fire Certificate of Occupancy with Deficiencies at 644 COTTAGE AVENUE/1378 MAYWOOD STREET, the Legislative Hearing Officer has reviewed the appeal and considered the testimony of City staff and the appellant; and
WHEREAS, the Legislative Hearing Officer recommends that the City Council grant until July 1, 2018 to come into compliance with the orders; Now, Therefore, Be It
RESOLVED, that the Saint Paul City Council hereby accepts and adopts the Legislative Hearing Officer's recommendation in this matter.
