Approving adverse action against the Recycling Collection Center license held by E J Liquidation d/b/a E J Liquidation, 315 Larch Street.

WHEREAS, adverse action was taken against the Recycling Collection Center license held by E J Liquidation d/b/a E J Liquidation (License ID #19980004928) for the premises located at 315 Larch Street in Saint Paul by Notice of Intent to Revoke License dated April 12, 2011, alleging the building the licensee occupied was designated a Category 3 Vacant Building and the Certificate of Occupancy was revoked; and
WHEREAS, according to Saint Paul Legislative Code ยง 40.01, a Certificate of Occupancy is required in order to occupy the space; and
WHEREAS, according to DSI records, the licensee also had not paid delinquent license and late fees of $267.00; and
WHEREAS, the licensee did not respond to the Notice of Intent to Revoke License to pay the delinquent license and late fees or request a hearing; and
WHEREAS, the Notice of Intent to Revoke License stated that if the licensee failed to pay the delinquent license and late fees or request a hearing by April 22, 2011, that the matter would be placed on the consent agenda to impose the recommended penalty; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, that the Recycling Collection Center license held by E J Liquidation d/b/a E J Liquidation is hereby revoked.
