Amending the Financing and Spending Plans in the Library Agency regarding additional MELSA and Friends of the Library funds.
Body
WHEREAS, the Saint Paul Public Library Agency will receive additional MELSA monies in 2018 for technology related projects and has funds available from the Friends of the Library; and
WHEREAS, the Saint Paul Public Library Agency has plans to purchase technology equipment and services, expanded outreach efforts with monies from the Friends; and
WHEREAS, the financing and spending plans for these monies has not been established; and
WHEREAS, the Mayor pursuant to Section 10.7.1 of the Charter of the City of Saint Paul, does certify that there are available for appropriations funds of $142,463 in excess of those estimated in the 2018 budget and recommends the changes to the 2018 budget described in the attached fiscal analysis; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, that the Library Board approves the changes to the 2018 Adopted Budget, and be it
FURTHER RESOLVED, that said budget, as heretofore adopted by the Library Board is hereby amended as indicated in the attached fiscal analysis form.
