Purpose of Appeal
On behalf of Alfonso M. Gomez (Karla Arndorfer De Gomez is recently deceased),
I hereby submit an Appeal for both Correction Notice and Summary Abatement Order File # 14-191144. Mr Gomez is working hard to comply with the Summary Abatement Order and Correction Notice. A discussion regarding extenuating circumstances apply with regard to completing the Order and Notice prior to the deadline. Please note that I request the Appeal Hearing either be conducted in Mr Gomez' primary language - Spanish - or that a competent translator be made available to Mr Gomez at the Appeal Hearing. WHEREAS, in the matter of Appeal of Alfonso Gomez to a Summary Abatement Order and Correction Notice at 1717 ENGLEWOOD AVENUE, the Legislative Hearing Officer has reviewed the appeal and considered the testimony of City staff and the appellant;
WHEREAS, the Legislative Hearing Officer recommends that the City Council grant an extension until May 9, 2014 for compliance; Now, Therefore, Be It
RESOLVED, that the Saint Paul City Council hereby accepts and adopts the Legislative Hearing Officer's recommendation in this matter.
