Authorizing the Fire Department to apply for the Gary Sinise Foundation First Responder Grant Program up to the amount of $150,000 to purchase extrication equipment and/or firefighting equipment.
Body
WHEREAS, the Fire Department seeks to protect the life and property of the residents of Saint Paul, and
WHEREAS, the Fire Department would like to apply for the Gary Sinise Foundation First Responder Grant Program to purchase extrication equipment and/or firefighting equipment; and
WHEREAS, the grant amount would be up to $150,000 and there is no matching fund requirement; and
RESOLVED, that the City Council authorizes the Fire Department to apply for the Gary Sinise Foundation First Responder Grant Program.
