Amending the General Government Accounts grant budget by $8,000 to cover 2014 flood-related Parks expense on Lilydale Bridge, an expense which will be reimbursed by FEMA and MN Department of Public Safety.
Body
WHEREAS, the City of Saint Paul endured a flood in 2014; and
WHEREAS, the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) and the Minnesota Department of Public Safety (MN DPS) reimburses for approved expenses associated with 2014 flood; and
WHEREAS, final repairs on Lilydale Bridge related to 2014 flood have taken place; and
WHEREAS, the final invoice needs to be paid prior to requesting and receiving reimbursement from FEMA and MN DPS; and
WHEREAS, the Mayor, pursuant to Section 10.07.1 of the Charter of the City of Saint Paul, does certify that there are available for appropriation funds of $8,000 in excess of those estimated in the budget; now
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, by the Council of the City of Saint Paul, upon recommendation of the Mayor that $8,000 is available for appropriation in the General Government Accounts grants budget, as heretofore adopted and amended by this Council, be hereby further amended in the particulars as specified in the attached financial analysis.
