Purpose of Appeal

Landlord doesn't fix the house from inside and outside, walls are breaking, ceiling, paint, kitchen stove doesn't work, carpet is dirty. City of St. Paul gave her 3 months to do repairs but she failed to do them and the city shut down her property. I am the tenant and need more time to move out.

WHEREAS, in the matter of Appeal of Kao Yang to a Fire Certificate of Occupancy Revocation and Order to Vacate at 599 MARYLAND AVENUE EAST, the Legislative Hearing Officer has reviewed the appeal and considered the testimony of City staff and the appellant; and

WHEREAS, the Legislative Hearing Officer recommends that the City Council deny the appeal and grant until September 20, 2013 for tenant to vacate the property; Now, Therefore, Be It

RESOLVED, that the Saint Paul City Council hereby accepts and adopts the Legislative Hearing Officer's recommendation in this matter.
