Preliminary Order setting a date of Council public hearing for June 5, 2013 for the improvement of Montreal Avenue from Saint Paul Avenue to Snelling Avenue. (File No. 19111, Asmt. No. 135204)

In the Matter of approving the construction of the improvement of Montreal Avenue from Saint Paul Avenue to Snelling Avenue by constructing a new, thicker section of bituminous pavement, construct ADA compliant pedestrian ramps at the intersections, install new storm sewer catch basins, new concrete driveway aprons and outwalks. Lantern style lighting will be installed as part of this project. Share-the-Road bike lane striping/signing will be installed.
The Council of the City of Saint Paul having received the report of the Mayor upon the above improvement, and having considered said report, hereby resolves:
1. That the said report and the same is hereby approved with no alternatives, and that the estimated cost thereof is $3,705,000.00, financed by MSA Funds and assessments.
2. That a public hearing be had on said improvement on the 5th day of June, 2013, at 5:30 p.m., in the Council Chambers of the City Hall and Court House Building in the City of Saint Paul.
3. That notice of said public hearing be given to the persons and in the manner provided by the Charter, stating the time and place of hearing, the nature of the improvement and the total cost thereof as estimated.
