Amending the 2026 spending and financing budgets in the Department of Public Works Sewers Accounting Unit to fund Construction and Repair costs, Engineering, and Transfers for Bond draws.
Body
WHEREAS, the Sewers Department finances Capital Projects, City-wide repair of its sewer system annually, Engineering costs, and transfers funds from its capital improvement bonds to finances capital projects; and
WHEREAS, the Sewer Department of Public Works must reallocate funding for these purposes; and
WHEREAS, there are expected to be savings in the 2026 spending budget in the Sewer Fund for those Accounting Units from which the funds are being transferred, therefore
ADMINISTRATIVE ORDER, consistent with the authority granted to the Mayor in Section 10.07.4 of the City Charter, and on the request of the Director of the Public Works Department to amend the 2026 spending budget for the reallocation of funds within existing budgets. The Director of the Office of Financial Services is authorized to amend said budget in the manner specified in the attached financial analysis.
