WHEREAS, the Saint Paul City Council in Council File RES 16-1110 accepted the Report of Completion for Property Clean Up on Private Properties during the time period of May 4 to May 31, 2016; and
WHEREAS, the City Council’s Legislative Hearing Officer has reviewed the assessment roll, considered appeals of affected property owners and developed recommendations for City Council with respect to those assessments; and
WHEREAS, the City Council held a public hearing on September 21, 2016 to consider ratification of the assessment roll; and
WHEREAS, the City Council considered and found satisfactory the assessment of benefits, costs and expenses for the services provided; now, therefore be it
RESOLVED, that, pursuant to Chapter 14 of the City Charter and Chapter 60 of the Administrative Code, the assessments are hereby in all respects ratified with the exception of the following amendments which will be considered separately:
RLH TA 16-367: 194 Cesar Chavez Street;
RLH TA 16-358: 715 Edgerton Street -remove from roll for separate consideration to be referred back to LH on Oct 4 and continue PH to Oct 19;
RLH TA 16-372: 291 Edmund Avenue;
RLH TA 16-370: 327 Front Avenue;
RLH TA 16-361: 2153 Glenridge Avenue;
RLH TA 16-375: 606 Lafond Avenue;
RLH TA 16-371: 1238 Marion Street;
RLH TA 16-428: 1554 Midway Parkway;
RLH TA 16-364: 1763 Minnehaha Avenue East;
RLH TA 16-374: 1210 Ross Avenue;
RLH TA 16-373: 1633 Saint Anthony Avenue/372 Fry Street;
RLH TA 16-366: 1330 Seventh Street East;
RLH TA 16-360: 454 Smith Avenue North;
RLH TA 16-382: 1075 Stinson Street;
RLH TA 16-399: 327 Front Avenue;
RLH TA 16-391: 544 University Avenue West; and be it further
RESOLVED, that the assessments be payable in one (1) installment, unless specified by the Legislative Hearing Officer’s recommended amendments.
