Title
Appeal of Greg Klinger to a Summary Abatement Order at 2506 NOKOMIS AVENUE.
Date/Time of 1st LH: Tuesday, September 15, 2020, Teleconference call between 11:00 a.m. and 12:30 p.m.
Purpose of Appeal: On the morning of August 25 when leaving for work, I saw a mattress and a box spring sitting in our alley (which has a history of illegal dumpings due to inadequate lighting). They were leaning up against the side of my garage which is right on the alley. I called the city to report this and was told an inspector would be out to look at it. On September 1, I received a letter stating that I had until September 4 to dispose of the items or I will be charged for the removal. I then called the inspector listed on the order and explained the situation. He directed me to contact the City Clerk to appeal. [paraphrased: dates corrected]
