Amending the financing and spending plan of the Saint Paul Public Library in the amount of $84,280 to utilize available CIB Contingency funds for the replacement of boilers at the Hayden Heights and St. Anthony libraries.

WHEREAS, the citywide 2018-2019 Capital Maintenance budget included funding for the replacement of boilers at the Hayden Heights and St. Anthony libraries; and
WHEREAS, the Saint Paul Public Library has received bids for the replacement of the two boilers; and
WHEREAS; the Saint Paul Public Library has identified an additional need of $84,280 for the boiler replacement project; and
WHEREAS, the Saint Paul Public Library is requesting use of $84,280 in available contingency to complete the boiler replacements at Hayden Heights and St. Anthony libraries; and
WHEREAS, it is the desire of the Saint Paul Public Library to amend the financing and spending budget for the project in the amount of $84,280; and
WHEREAS, the Mayor, pursuant to Section 10.07.4 of the Charter of the City of Saint Paul, does certify that there are available for transfer of appropriation, funds of $84,280 in the 2018 Capital Improvement Budget; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Saint Paul, upon recommendation of the Mayor and the advice of the Long Range Capital Improvement Budget Committee, that $84,280 is available for transfer of appropriation in the Capital Improvement Budget, and said budget, as therefore adopted by the Council, is hereby further amended.
