Amending the 2025 financing and spending budget in Public Works Sewers Utility Fund Sewer Capital Maintenance accounting unit to move $6,000,000 of infrastructure spending to contribution to fund equity financing to better align spending and financing budgets.
Body
WHEREAS, the Department of Public Works FY25 budget allocated $6,000,000 to infrastructure spending but should reflect a negative contribution to fund equity; and
WHEREAS, moving this infrastructure budget aligns spending and financing for Sewer Capital Maintenance activity; therefore via
ADMINISTRATIVE ORDER, consistent with the authority granted to the Mayor in Section 10.07.4 of the City Charter, and on the request of the Director of Public Works to amend the 2025 financing and spending budget for the reallocation of funds within existing budgets. The Director of the Office of Financial Services is authorized to amend said budget in the manner specified in the attached financial analysis.
