Legislative Hearing Staff Comments: In my reading of the orders, I have the appeal on the removal of the truck and the deadline established. If the appellant wants to contest whether he can park the commercial vehicle at this location, it gets sent on to BZA. Note: LC Sec. 151.02 Definitions 8) Commercial truck shall include a motor vehicle designed and registered as a truck and licensed under the motor carrier laws of the State of Minnesota for the transportation of property but not persons or a motor vehicle designed and registered as a truck and used exclusively in the transportation of property in commerce but not for the transportation of persons at any time. WHEREAS, in the matter of Appeal of Thomas Adamson to a Vehicle Abatement Order at 1519 ALMOND AVENUE, the Legislative Hearing Officer has reviewed the appeal and considered the testimony of City staff and the appellant;
WHEREAS, the Legislative Hearing Officer recommends that the City Council deny the appeal and establish a deadline of no later than August 6, 2015 for compliance; Now, Therefore, Be It
RESOLVED, that the Saint Paul City Council hereby accepts and adopts the Legislative Hearing Officer's recommendation in this matter.
