WHEREAS on February 18, 2026, the City Council of the City of Saint Paul adopted Council File No. AR 26-1 to ratify the assessment for Tall Grass and Weed Removal services during June 27 to July 8, 2025. (File No. J2602TW, Assessment No. 268702); and
WHEREAS, the property at 601 Rose Avenue East, being described as: J.M. Warner’s 2nd Addition to St. Paul, Minn. W 14 Ft of Lot 17 and E 1/2 of Lot 16, with the property identification number 29-29-22-12-0106 was assessed an amount of $916; and
WHEREAS, Urjii Kalil reached out to our office to review the appeal as she did not received notices of the summary abatement order nor the assessment hearings and indicated mails had been going to 601 Rose Ave E, a vacant lot. She also indicated that the mailing address should have been to the address recorded with her title company, but that Ramsey County has her address as 601 Rose Ave E. Currently, her address is 1027 White Bear Ave N, St Paul MN 55106; and
WHEREAS, the Legislative Hearing Officer will review this on May 19, 2026 Legislative Hearing to determine her recommendation; Now, Therefore, Be It
RESOLVED, that the reduction of $916, plus any accrued interests, be forthcoming.
