Purpose of Appeal:  Not vacant - under renovation due to house fire

Legislative Hearing Staff Comments:  DSI gave a second 90-day waiver, which should not have been done; therefore, this untimely appeal was accepted.  Appellant appealed the 11/6/23 VBR, but staff found a more recent one dated 2/26/24.

 

Body

WHEREAS, in the matter of the Appeal of Taronda Richardson to a Vacant Building Registration Notice at 638 Dale Street North, the Legislative Hearing Officer has reviewed the appeal and considered the testimony of City staff and the appellant; and

 

WHEREAS, the Legislative Hearing Officer recommends that the City Council waive Vacant Building fee to June 6, 2024 in accordance with "custom fee waiver" given by DSI; Now, Therefore, Be It

 

RESOLVED, that the Saint Paul City Council hereby accepts and adopts the Legislative Hearing Officer's recommendation in this matter.
