Appeal of Elon Piche to a Fire Inspection Correction Notice at 1000 ARCADE STREET.
Purpose of Appeal
I own the building 1000 Arcade. In Oct. 2011 I took out a Building Permit to put on a new shingles roof. I didn't know that the code had changed and you could not put a new roof over the existing roof. I spend over $5000 I took my time and put the roof on with quality making sure it was done right. I keep a very nice well painted clean building well kept. I would not of done it the way I did it if I had known. I put on a total hired new flat roof on the rest of my building in 2001 at a cost of $42,000. I always do work right and of quality. I mess up this time and asking for a appeal. Thanks for your time. WHEREAS, in the matter of Appeal of Elon Piche to a Fire Inspection Correction Notice at 1000 ARCADE STREET, the Legislative Hearing Officer has reviewed the appeal and considered the testimony of City staff and the appellant; and
WHEREAS, the Legislative Hearing Officer's recommendation is to grant the appeal; Now, Therefore, Be It
RESOLVED, that the Saint Paul City Council hereby accepts and adopts the Legislative Hearing Officer's recommendation in this matter.
