Inspector Essling reported that this is for an Emergency Boarding at 1986 St. Clair. There isn't a lot of information because they don't have the Police Report. Apparently, it's an 8-unit apartment building. It was boarded by Saint Paul Police on August 31, 2010 (secured lower unit; one (1) door and three (3) windows). Case # 10-190-559; invoice is # 7656 Respro. They don't have information about the call but it sounds as though someone broke in.
Ms. Evans stated that this is a beautiful building in a great neighborhood with long-term tenants; it's not a police call building. Evidently, the gentleman who lives in garden level apartment #7 had been drinking. His daughter (lots of problems) came over and started a fight with him. She called the police and the police called him out of his apartment and they took him away. It is her understanding that he wasn't bothering anyone; he does drink and he works at Snuffy's Malt Shop.
