Ed Smith confirmed with Xcel Fri. a.m.10/25/13 and gas is off for Unit #1. Because the unit is vacant, this idoes not need an emergency hearing and it can be scheduled for 11/5. MM

WHEREAS, in the matter of Appeal of Antonio Chavez to a Notice of Condemnation as Unfit for Human Habitation and Order to Vacate at 951 BRADLEY STREET, UNIT #1, the Legislative Hearing Officer has reviewed the appeal and considered the testimony of City staff and the appellant; and
WHEREAS, the Legislative Hearing Officer recommends that the City Council grant the appeal on the condemnation and order to vacate as the electric and gas have been turned back on and grant an extension until November 22, 2013 to come into compliance with the other violations in the order; Now, Therefore, Be It
RESOLVED, that the Saint Paul City Council hereby accepts and adopts the Legislative Hearing Officer's recommendation in this matter.
