Making finding on the appeal of Emmett Owens, Jr., to the nuisance abatement ordered for 233 BATES AVENUE in Council File RLH SAO 26-28.

WHEREAS, the City Council adopted RLH SAO 26-28 on May 6, 2026 which granted an extension to May 22, 2026 for all orders to come into compliance at 233 Bates Avenue; and
WHEREAS, the Legislative Hearing Officer reviewed this case on May 26, 2026 to determine if the owner and/or responsible party abated the nuisance conditions and found these conditions compliance with the vehicle abatement order and partial compliance with the Summary Abatement Order,forthcoming; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, that the Saint Paul City Council adopts the finding of the legislative hearing officer that the nuisance condition is forthcoming partially abated, and continues the public hearing to June 3, 2026 for update of condition to be fully abated or not abated and therefore; authorizes the Department of Safety and Inspections to proceed with the nuisance abatement.
