Approving reimbursement for the Ward 7 budget event.

WHEREAS the Ward 7 Budget event is being held on Thursday, August 13, 2026, at the Battle Creek Recreation Center, 75 Winthrop street S. 55119; and
WHEREAS the purpose of the meeting is to connect with residents about the 2027city budget and Ward 7 investments; and
WHEREAS the expenditure of money for snacks and light refreshments serves a public purpose by fostering community engagement and facilitating discussions among residents; and therefore
BE IT RESOLVED that the Saint Paul City Council is authorized to reimburse Councilmember Cheniqua Johnson up to a total $700 for the purchase of snacks and refreshments for the community event.
