Changing the rate of pay for DSI Fire Safety Inspector III, EG 02, AFSCME Technical. (to be laid over one week for final adoption)
Body
WHEREAS, the Office of Human Resources conducted a group study for the classification of DSI Fire Safety Inspector III; and
WHEREAS, the results of the group study instruct that the rate of pay for DSI Fire Safety Inspector III be changed from the rate set forth in Grade 42L to the rate set forth in Grade 44L; and
WHEREAS, the results of the job study further instruct that rates for the new Grade 44L should be established as listed in the chart below; now therefore, be it
RESOLVED, pursuant to City Charter Sections 6.03.3(5) and 12.01, that the rate of pay for the DSI Fire Safety Inspector III be changed from Grade 42L to the new rate set forth in 44L of EG 02, AFSCME Technical consistent with the chart below. This resolution shall take effect and be in force on the first pay period following its passage and approval and retroactive to 2/10/2024.
