Purpose of Appeal: Order requested signs to be removed that are on sidewalk, but none of our signs are on the sidewalk. Also, signs are not listed as nuisance under Chapter 45.

Legislative Hearing Staff Comments: I've added Jerome Benner and Ellen Biales to the notification list on this appeal, because I think there are ROW and signage issues we should address. I don't know if we need those staff in the hearing (although they are welcome if they think it would work better), but it would be helpful to get their feedback on the issue before the hearing. WHEREAS, in the matter of the Appeal of Liberty Tax to a Summary Abatement Order at 472 LEXINGTON PARKWAY NORTH, the Legislative Hearing Officer has reviewed the appeal and considered the testimony of City staff and the appellant;
WHEREAS, the Legislative Hearing Officer recommends that the City Council deny the appeal; Now, Therefore, Be It
RESOLVED, that the Saint Paul City Council hereby accepts and adopts the Legislative Hearing Officer's recommendation in this matter.
