Authorizing the Police Department to accept the unsolicited donation from Regions Hospital for 140 first aid kits to aid the police officers in their first responder activities in the community.

WHEREAS, Regions Hospital would like to donate 140 first aid kits to the City of Saint Paul Police Department (SPPD); and
WHEREAS, the SPPD would like to accept this unsolicited donation with an estimated value of $6,000.00 (six thousand dollars); and
WHEREAS, the public purpose of this donation is to provide first aid kits to our officers, as first responders, in the furtherance of the overall safety of the public and the police officers.
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council accepts this generous donation and extends its sincere thanks to Regions Hospital.
