Authorizing the Department of Financial Services to expend an amount not to exceed $5,000 for the purpose of providing refreshments, and other incentives for the Capital Improvement Budget Task Force process throughout 2015.
Body
WHEREAS, the Department of Financial Services is involved in various forms of community outreach through the capital budget process; and
WHEREAS, the Department of Financial Services wishes to provide food and refreshments during task force meetings, and other Department sponsored programs and activities; and
WHEREAS, the expenditure of money serves a public purpose in increasing Financial Services use and awareness of the inclusion of the public in the capital budget; and
WHEREAS, available dollars in Financial Services general fund budget and General Government budget will be used for the purchases; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, that the Department of Financial Services is hereby authorized to expend an amount not to exceed $5,000 for the purpose of providing refreshments, and other incentives for the Capital Improvement Budget Task Force process throughout 2015.
