Title

Pertaining to a 2019 Budget Amendment No. 1 to record the increased financing and spending from the Minnesota Historical Society Grant #1805-22268 for $250,000 for repair to the historic Highland Park Water Tower, and to transfer $285,000 in capital funds to operating funds for a portion of the grant match. 

 

Body

WHEREAS, Resolution 19-275 approved the grant agreement between the Board of Water Commissioners of the City of Saint Paul and the Minnesota Historical Society to perform repairs on its historic Highland Park Water Tower in the amount of $250,000; and

 

WHEREAS, in its 2017 budget, the Board of Water Commissioners did authorize $285,000 for Highland 1 Station Modification as a capital funded project that has carried forward to 2019; now, therefore, be it

 

RESOLVED, that the Board of Water Commissioners does hereby recommend amendment to its 2019 Adopted Budget, resulting in an increase of spending and financing of $250,000 to the 2019 Adopted Budget, resulting in an amended budget of $77,662,786, and transfer $285,000 from capital funds to operating funds, the details of such are attached, and does recommend approval by the Saint Paul City Council.
